Anti-Erosion Workshop 2021
20. September 2021 | Fontainebleau Forest
Led by the officers from the National Forestry Office, this full day conservation workshop allows the participants to learn about the challenges facing the Fontainebleau Forest.
During the course of the day, participants build structures that prevent soil erosion, protect plant roots and stabilise tree and rocks. The results of the days' work can last up to 100 years!
What to bring with you:
-
food and water for the day
-
clothing that can get dirty
-
shoes that will protect your feet (no sandals)
Expect a day of fun and a hard workout.
This year we've partnered with a local non-profit CLAC to be able to do more work with the foresters. CLAC will work at the site of Gorges aux Chats on Sunday, 19. September, and the Women's Bouldering Festival volunteers will step in on Monday to continue the work.
Thank you for joining us!
